Pitra Dosha Shanti Puja
The Pitra Dosha Shanti Puja is a traditional Vedic ritual to honour your ancestors (pitru), performed in your name with tarpan (offerings of water and sesame), pinda daan and mantras. Pitra Dosha is read from afflictions to the Sun, the 9th house or its lord, often by Rahu or Saturn, and it is linked with recurring family patterns.

How is the Pitra Dosha Shanti Puja performed?
It is performed on your behalf, usually on an amavasya or during Pitru Paksha, with a sankalpa in your name, so you don’t need to be present. Arjun first confirms from your chart that the dosha is actually present and not cancelled, then the priests perform the ritual and you receive confirmation once it is complete.
