Numerology is easy to begin with because it needs only your full name and date of birth. Where a birth chart maps the whole sky at the moment you were born, numbers offer a sharp, focused lens on personality, timing and compatibility. Think of it as a companion to astrology rather than a replacement for it.

Which numbers does the report use?
Three numbers sit at the heart of your reading. Your Moolank (root or psychic number) comes from the day of the month you were born and describes your instinctive personality. Your Bhagyank (destiny number) comes from your full date of birth and points to the direction your life tends to take. Your name number is drawn from the letters of the name you actually use.
In Vedic numerology each number from 1 to 9 is ruled by a planet: 1 by the Sun, 2 by the Moon, 8 by Saturn, and so on. That link is what lets me turn your numbers into practical guidance on timing, colours, days and mantras.

Numerology report FAQs
Do I need my birth time for a numerology report?
No. Unlike a Vedic birth chart, numerology works from your full name and date of birth, so an unknown or uncertain birth time is not a problem. If you want timing that also draws on planetary periods and transits, a birth-chart reading with an exact birth time is the better fit, and the two can be read side by side.
Should I change the spelling of my name?
Sometimes a small spelling adjustment brings your name number into better harmony with your birth numbers, and many clients look at this for a business or brand name. It isn’t always needed. The report tells you whether your current name already works well, and if a change is suggested, it explains why so you can decide calmly rather than out of worry.
Is numerology the same as Vedic astrology?
They are related but different. Vedic astrology (Jyotish) reads the exact positions of the planets at your time and place of birth, while numerology reads the numbers in your date of birth and name. Numerology gives a quick, focused view; a birth chart adds depth and timing. Many people find the two complement each other well.
