Total Life Report: A Complete Vedic Birth Chart Reading for Every Area of Life

The Total Life Report is Arjun’s most comprehensive written reading. Prepared in Sydney from your Janam Kundli, it surveys all twelve houses of your birth chart, from personality and relationships to career, wellbeing and spiritual direction, alongside the major Dasha chapters of your life.

A Total Life Report is a complete written reading of your Vedic birth chart that covers every major area of life in one document: who you are, how you relate, how you work, what supports your wellbeing and where your deeper sense of purpose lies. I’m Arjun, a Vedic astrologer in Sydney, and it is the most thorough report I prepare.

What is the Total Life Report?

Most of my reports zoom in on one question, such as career timing or relationship compatibility. The Total Life Report does the opposite. It steps back and reads your whole Janam Kundli as a single story, showing how the different parts of your life connect. A strong 10th house might explain your drive at work, while a sensitive Moon explains why that drive sometimes costs you rest. Seeing both together is where real insight comes from.

Which areas of life does it cover?

The report works through the twelve houses of your chart and groups them into clear, readable sections:

  • Personality and temperament – your Lagna (ascendant), Moon sign and Nakshatra, and how you come across compared with how you feel inside.
  • Family, home and roots – the 2nd and 4th houses: family patterns, emotional security, property and your sense of home.
  • Learning and creativity – the 3rd and 5th houses: communication, courage, study, creativity and children.
  • Relationships and partnership – the 7th house, Venus and the Navamsa chart: what you seek in a partner and how you behave in close relationships.
  • Work and vocation – the 6th and 10th houses: your natural working style, the environments you thrive in and your broad vocational direction.
  • Money and resources – the 2nd and 11th houses: your general relationship with earning, saving and gains.
  • Wellbeing – the 1st, 6th and 8th houses: energy levels, stress patterns and where balance matters most for you.
  • Purpose and spirituality – the 9th and 12th houses: beliefs, teachers, travel, inner life and letting go.

Does it include timing?

Yes, at a big-picture level. The report outlines the sequence of Vimshottari Mahadasha periods across your life, so you can see which chapter you are in now, what it is asking of you, and which themes the next chapter is likely to bring. It is an overview of the long arc rather than a detailed month-by-month forecast.

How is it different from the Career & Finance Report and the Horoscope Prediction Report?

  • Career & Finance Report – goes deep on one area. It focuses on when to make career moves and on your money patterns, using detailed Dasha and transit timing.
  • Horoscope Prediction Report – a forecast of the periods immediately ahead, combining your current Dasha with Gochar transits.
  • Total Life Report – the full portrait. It explains your chart as a whole and how each area of life relates to the others, with career as one chapter among many.

If you are unsure where to start, the Total Life Report is usually the best foundation, because every later question makes more sense once you understand the chart as a whole.

Who is the Total Life Report for?

  • People who have never had their Vedic chart read in full and want a thorough starting point
  • Anyone at a crossroads who wants to see the bigger picture before making a decision
  • Those who grew up with Jyotish in the family and now want it explained clearly in English
  • Curious newcomers to Vedic astrology who want to understand how it differs from Western Sun-sign astrology

The single most useful lesson I have learned from reading charts is that no placement works in isolation. I wrote about this in if I could tell my younger self one thing about reading a birth chart, and it is the principle behind this report.

What will it not do?

It will not decide your life for you, promise particular outcomes, or replace professional medical, legal, financial or psychological advice. Wellbeing sections describe tendencies in the chart, not diagnoses. The report is designed to help you understand yourself and plan with more confidence; the choices remain yours.

What do I need to provide?

Your date of birth, your most accurate birth time and your place of birth (town and country). A birth certificate or hospital record is ideal. If you only know an approximate time, mention it when you order and I will indicate which conclusions depend on the exact time.

Frequently asked questions

How is the Total Life Report different from a general horoscope?

A general horoscope is written for a whole Sun sign. The Total Life Report is written for one person from their exact birth data. It reads your Lagna, Moon, Nakshatra, all twelve houses and your Dasha sequence together, so the descriptions and timing apply to your chart rather than to everyone born in the same month.

Does it cover career in enough detail?

It covers your working style, the environments that suit you and your broad vocational direction. If your main concern is the timing of a job change, a promotion or a business launch, the Career & Finance Report goes into far more depth on those questions and is the better choice.

Can I ask specific questions with this report?

Yes. You are welcome to include a few questions when you order, and I will address them within the relevant sections where the chart gives a clear answer. If your questions need a longer conversation, a consultation afterwards lets us explore them together.

What if I don’t know my birth time?

The report is still possible, but house-based sections are less certain without an accurate time, because the Lagna changes roughly every two hours. Planetary signs, the Moon’s Nakshatra and the Dasha sequence remain useful. I will clearly mark which parts are firm and which are provisional.

You can compare the Total Life Report with every other written reading on the astrology reports page.
