The Navagraha Shanti Puja is one of the oldest and most comprehensive rituals in the Vedic tradition — performed for millennia to restore cosmic equilibrium before weddings, house-warmings (griha pravesh), new ventures, and whenever multiple planetary influences are working against a person at once. Each graha is invoked in turn through mantras specific to it, offered its associated havan samagri, and requested to withdraw its harmful influence while strengthening its beneficial one.
