Description
The Vedic Gemstone Report tells you which gemstones (Ratna) suit your birth chart, which to avoid, and how and when they are traditionally worn. Arjun, a Sydney-based Vedic astrologer, prepares it personally for anyone considering a ruby, pearl, emerald, sapphire or other astrological gem who wants chart-based advice before spending money.
What’s included
- Gemstone selection for your Ascendant (Lagna), which decides which planets act as friends for you
- An analysis of each of the nine planetary gems for your chart
- Gemstones matched to your current and upcoming Dasha periods
- Your gemstone recommendation, with the finger, metal, day and mantra traditionally associated with it
Each of the nine planets (Navagraha) has a traditional gem: Ruby (Manik) for the Sun, Pearl (Moti) for the Moon, Red Coral (Moonga) for Mars, Emerald (Panna) for Mercury, Yellow Sapphire (Pukhraj) for Jupiter, Diamond (Heera) for Venus, Blue Sapphire (Neelam) for Saturn, Hessonite (Gomed) for Rahu and Cat’s Eye (Lehsunia) for Ketu. A gem is worn to support a helpful planet that is weak, never to strengthen one that causes trouble in your chart.
What I need from you
Your date, exact time and place of birth. The Ascendant changes roughly every two hours and shapes which stones suit you, so an accurate birth time matters.
Frequently asked questions
Can the wrong gemstone cause problems?
Traditionally, yes. Because a gem is believed to amplify its planet, a stone for a difficult planet may intensify challenges. Blue Sapphire is especially known for this, which is why the report lists stones to avoid.
Will a gemstone fix my health or finances?
No. Gemstones are a traditional remedy, not a medical treatment or a promise of financial results. Keep seeing your doctor or financial adviser for those matters.
Should I wear the stone straight away?
Please consult me before buying or wearing any gem, so the stone, weight and timing suit you, and check that it is natural and untreated.
