What is the difference between a birth chart and a Kundli?

They are the same thing. Kundli, or Janam Kundli, is the Hindi term for the Vedic birth chart: a map of where the Sun, Moon, planets and lunar nodes were at your exact moment and place of birth, divided into twelve houses.

I am new to Vedic astrology. Will I understand it?
