# Navagraha Shanti Puja

**The Navagraha Shanti Puja honours all nine Vedic planets (Surya, Chandra, Mangal, Budh, Guru, Shukra, Shani, Rahu and Ketu) in a single ritual with mantra japa and a havan.** It is the puja Arjun suggests when a chart shows several planets under pressure at once, rather than one clear source of difficulty.

**How a Navagraha Shanti Puja works.** The Navagraha Shanti Puja, step by step.

**Read the video transcript**

- Step 1, you share your details: name, date, time and place of birth, and what you are going through.
- Step 2, Arjun checks your chart: which of the nine grahas are under pressure, and whether a single-planet or full Navagraha puja suits you.
- Step 3, sankalpa in your name: the puja is formally dedicated to you, your family and your intention.
- Step 4, mantra japa for each graha: traditional mantras are chanted for Surya, Chandra, Mangal, Budh, Guru, Shukra, Shani, Rahu and Ketu.
- Step 5, havan to close: offerings are made into the sacred fire to complete the ceremony.
- Step 6, guidance afterwards: you receive a short summary and simple practices to continue at home.

### Astrologer’s insight from Arjun

“When a chart shows several planets under pressure at once, treating them one at a time isn’t always practical. This is the puja I recommend when the whole chart, not just one graha, needs support.”

## Frequently asked questions

### Do I need to be present?

**No.** The puja is performed on your behalf using your sankalpa, a long-established Vedic practice. A live video link can be arranged on request.

### Is this better than booking individual planet pujas?

**It depends on your chart.** If one planet is clearly the source, an individual graha puja is more focused; if several are involved, the Navagraha Shanti Puja covers them together. Arjun will advise which fits your situation.

### How long does it take?

**The full ritual usually takes two to three hours,** and the recording and summary follow within 24 to 48 hours.

### Can a puja guarantee results?

**No.** Pujas are traditional spiritual practices performed in good faith; their effects are personal and can’t be measured or promised.
